Ashley F. Heintz is a partner at Jones Day in Atlanta, where she specializes in securities litigation, shareholder disputes and corporate governance matters. She previously served as a judicial clerk to Judge Clay D. Land of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia and an extern to Superior Court Judge William M. Ray II. In 2021, Heintz was named one of the top seven securities litigators under 40 in the country by Law 360. She was also named by Best Lawyers in America on its “Ones to Watch” list for securities litigation in 2022. Other publications placing her on notable lists include Chambers USA and Georgia Super Lawyers.
She earned her law degree magna cum laude from the University of Georgia where she was inducted into Order of the Coif and was notes editor of the Georgia Law Review. She holds a bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
