Biographical Information

Anjelica C. Violi joined the University of Georgia School of Law in 2024 as the Alexander Campbell King Law Library’s student engagement librarian.

Violi is responsible for the development and implementation of library activities and programs for law students which are designed to enhance learning. She also serves as the primary liaison between the law library and the student body.

She came to UGA after serving as a staff attorney for the Indiana Gaming Commission, where she communicated and managed public records requests and license verifications, along with managing statewide patron exclusion lists and engaging in patron services. Violi also oversaw the revocation and suspension of occupational licenses for the commission.  

Violi’s other professional legal experience includes work as a deputy attorney general in the Office of the Indiana Attorney General, a staff attorney at the Indiana Department of Child Services and as a contractor document review attorney for PricewaterhouseCooper, Legility (Consilio) and Knowable.

After receiving her bachelor’s degree in journalism and classical studies from Indiana University – Bloomington, Violi earned her Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University and her Master of Library and Information Science from Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis.

Violi is a member of the American Association of Law Libraries.
