Whenever Law Library staff members experience significant events in their lives (or in the lives of their spouses and partners), they or their supervisor will notify the Library’s Administrative Assistant of the event. The Administrative Assistant will notify the administrative assistants in the Dean’s Office, who is in charge of sending the appropriate recognition on behalf of the Law School.

Although, the Law Library has no official role in recognizing events in staff members’ lives, nothing in this policy is intended to discourage groups or individuals within the Law Library from making additional efforts to recognize important milestones among their colleagues.
