Heidi Sawyer joined the University of Georgia School of Law as its student engagement coordinator in 2025. In this Career Development Office position, she drafts student newsletters, assists with professional development events, and distributes resources and CDO related information.
She previously worked as a career peer advisor at the Berry College Center for Personal and Professional Development, where she delivered one-on-one advising sessions to peers for resume optimization and job searching. She also planned and executed monthly events, fostering partnerships with employers and departments on campus. Before becoming the center’s career peer advisor, she was their social media and marketing assistant. She also served as an intern for the Floyd County District Attorney’s Office.
Sawyer earned her bachelor’s degree from Berry College in 2024.
