Biographical Information

Georgia McPeak joined the University of Georgia School of Law in 2018 as its grants coordinator. She is responsible for assisting faculty with developing grant proposals, preparing budgets, identifying funding and grant opportunities, and ensuring grant compliance. She also assists law school associate deans with research and analysis.

McPeak comes to the law school with 20 years of experience with international humanitarian relief and development organizations in Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. She has deep expertise in proposal development and submission, grant writing, and the implementation and management of grants. She also has worked with a diverse portfolio of government and private funding sources.

She holds master's degrees in international affairs from UGA and agricultural development from the University of Minnesota. McPeak began her international aid work as a Peace Corp volunteer in Mali, West Africa, after earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee.
