Congratulations to Cyndi Canup, winner of the 2018 Emma Terrell Distinguished Employee Award. Presented annually by the Law School Staff Representative Group, the honor recognizes staff members who have demonstrated "a strong work ethic, commitment to service, and exceptional job performance as well as the cooperation needed to ensure the School of Law meets and exceeds its goals."
Canup joined the School of Law in 2014 and currently works with the law school's advocacy program. Her co-workers describe her as "a treasure," "a model of poise and professionalism," "a complete delight" and "relentlessly cheerful."
Formerly known as the Employee Distinguished Service Award, this honor was renamed in February 2005 in memory of Emma P. Terrell, a longtime employee remembered for her dedication to and enthusiasm for the law school.
