Biographical Information

Myles B. Solomon joined the University of Georgia School of Law in the fall of 2025 as the director of the sports law program. For more than 20 years, he was the president of Solomon Sports Management, a firm in Atlanta that focuses on legal matters relating to the sports industry. In this role, he represented NCAA Division I athletic directors, football coaches and basketball coaches and was responsible for managing all aspects of their careers, including job searches, contract negotiations, endorsement deals and legal affairs. He also served as the general counsel for NIL Ace, an Atlanta-based NIL agency for college athletes.  

He previously served as an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina in the sports and entertainment management department, where he taught contracts and negotiations in addition to sports law. He also spent six years as an attorney with the law firm Bassi, Edlin, Huie & Blum in San Francisco. Before attending law school, he worked in the marketing and finance departments with Anaheim Sports, a Walt Disney company that owned Major League Baseball’s Anaheim Angels and the National Hockey League franchise the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.

Solomon earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration and his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina.
