Barriers to Voting and Representation in Georgia

Date:
Thursday, October 1, 2020 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm
Location:
Virtual

We are excited to join ACS student and lawyer chapters across Georgia for a panel that will examine barriers to registering to vote, navigating acceptance of ballots, and structural issues that prevent votes from translating into representation. The panelists will conclude with a discussion of on-going legal and advocacy efforts to secure the right to vote. The event features Acklima Khondoker, Georgia State Director, All Voting is Local; Bryan Sells, Managing Member, The Law Office of Bryan Sells; Member, ACS Georgia Lawyer Chapter Executive Board; and Tejas Dave, President, ACS Emory Student Chapter, Moderator.
