Nicole Jones Pinard is the Vice President & General Manager of Legal Education at Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory U.S., the leading provider of expert content, learning solutions and thought leadership in legal education. With more than 20 years' experience leading cross-functional teams, Nicole sets the strategic approach for the unit with a focus on expanding the group's acclaimed digital portfolio and driving innovative solutions for the legal academic community. Throughout her career, she has successfully led the growth of digital learning content, spearheaded large scale acquisitions and driven new revenue streams. Nicole holds an MBA from Boston University and a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Massachusetts.

Nicole will discuss a newly released white paper survey and report and will share research on what makes a future ready lawyer including COVID impact insights:

  • The survey and report represent the findings of 700 legal professionals across US and 9 countries in Europe.
  • The FRL report examines 5 areas in the overall context of transformation in the legal sector: 1) overall trends in the sector; 2) the state of client/firm relationships; 3) the changing legal department; 4) the changing law firm; and 5) technology investments and advantages.
  • To ensure the whitepaper is contemporary with our times, the report incorporates impact of the pandemic; and the luminaries section provides a Special Focus on COVID-19 and Legal Sector Impact.
