The Labor & Employment Law Association and CDO are happy to sponsor a roundtable with Roy Manoll, III.

Roy Manoll is an experienced trial attorney at Fortson, Bentley and Griffin. Roy specializes in creditor's rights, bankruptcy, employment law and commercial litigation. Roy has been handling litigation work for approximately twenty-five years.

Roy is admitted to practice before all state trial and appellate courts in Georgia, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia and he is a member of the Western Circuit Bar Association. Roy previously served as the Secretary-Treasurer and President of the Western Circuit Bar Association as well as the Treasurer for the Federal Bar Association, Middle District of Georgia. Roy is a member of the State Bar of Georgia where he was the Chair of the State High School Mock Trial Committee; he is currently working on the State High School Mock Trial Committee. Roy serves on the Board of Directors for Hope Haven of Northeast Georgia, Inc. and he is currently a member of the Athens Regional Medical Center Foundation Corporate Gifts Committee.

Roy earned his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1989. Prior to law school. Roy earned his B.B.A. from the University of Georgia in 1986. He is a member of Phi Delta Phi.

Roy grew up in Albany, Georgia where he attended Deerfield School. He and his wife, Deborah have two children. Roy currently is a program speaker for the Chamber of Commerce, Lorman Education Services, Athens Area Industrial Management Group, Athens Area Personnel Association and Athens Area Society for Human Resource Management on various employment related issues.
