Regents' Professor of International Law & Woodruff Chair in International Law Diane Marie Amann presented “Child-Taking” as part of the Ways Forward: Protecting Future Generations panel at the Nuremberg Forum 2024 titled “For Every Child: Protecting Children’s Rights in Armed Conflict” at the International Nuremberg Principles Academy in Germany during October.

Congratulations to Professor Pamela Foohey who was selected for inclusion in the 36th class of American College of Bankruptcy fellows. The American College of Bankruptcy is dedicated to the enhancement of professionalism, scholarship and service in bankruptcy and insolvency law and practice.

Stanton Distinguished Professor in Canine Welfare Law & Practicum in Animal Welfare Skills Director Lisa Milot was featured in On Common Ground News regarding a new ordinance against unregulated pet sales in DeKalb County. The article titled “DeKalb County BOC approves ban on unregulated pet sales” was a staff report published 10/11/24.

Distinguished Research Professor & Shackelford Distinguished Professor in Taxation Law Emeritus Walter Hellerstein co-presented as part of the VAT/GST Treatment of Activities Involving Crypto-Assets at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development Technical Advisory Group to Working Party No. 9 on Consumption Taxes meeting in October in Paris, France.

Hosch Professor & Meigs Distinguished Teaching Professor Lori A. Ringhand presented as part of the Knight Election Law Forum titled "Decoding Election Law for Journalists: Essential Insights from Top Experts" in September.
