Brock Associate Professor in Professional Responsibility Nathan S. Chapman was featured on Bloomberg Law regarding a recent federal court decision involving religion and LGBT discrimination claims. The article titled "Texas Ruling Opens Route for Religious Carveouts to LGBT Rights" was written by Paige Smith and Robert Iafolla and was published 11/3/21.

Associate Dean for International Programs & Post Professor Melissa J. "MJ" Durkee moderated and presented on a panel titled “Outsourcing International Responsibility” at International Law Weekend, which was organized by the American Branch of the International Law Association and held during October. Her talk addressed how international law assigns responsibility in the context of privatization and state-owned entities.

Assistant Professor Thomas E. Kadri published Tort Law: Cases & Critique (2021). This open-access casebook was made possible through a University of Georgia Provost Affordable Course Materials Grant. Third-year student Courtney M. Hogan and second-year student Noah C. Nix contributed to the text as well as Administrative Associate Sarah Burns and Research & Copyright Services Librarian Stephen Wolfson.

Metadata Services & Special Collections Librarian Rachel Evans presented "Totally Tubular: Carving Out Your Best Content with DCX" at the Digital Commons North American Conference during October (with M. Biondo and A. Connolly). The presentation showcased the new digital exhibits repository platform with several examples from the UGA School of Law's special collections, and it included a live workshop for attendees to begin building their own IR digital exhibits.

University Professor & Kilpatrick Chair of Corporate Finance and Securities Law Usha Rodrigues was featured in CFO Dive regarding a special purpose acquisition company deal involving Donald Trump. The article titled "Trump SPAC partner might have violated SEC curb on pre-IPO planning" was written by Robert Freedman and published 11/1/21.
