Distinguished Research Professor & Shackelford Distinguished Professor in Taxation Law Emeritus Walter Hellerstein published "Constitutional Restraints on Intrastate Distribution of Taxing Authority" in 111 Tax Notes State 619 (2024).

Associate Professor Jonathan Peters was elected president of the Georgia First Amendment Foundation for 2024. GFAF is a nonprofit and nonpartisan membership organization that works across Georgia to protect and advance free expression, information access, open records/meetings and the rights of peaceable protestors.
