Brumby Distinguished Professor in First Amendment Law Sonja R. West hosted The First Amendment Salon virtual conference titled "Defending Free Speech for All" during October.
Post Professor Melissa J. "MJ" Durkee presented "Interpretive Entrepreneurs" as part of a panel titled "International Law in Theory" at the American Society of International Law Midyear Meeting, held virtually. She also participated in meetings of the ASIL Executive Council and American Journal of International Law Board of Editors.
Callaway Chair Elizabeth Chamblee Burch presented "MDL Revolution" at the 6th Annual Civil Procedure Workshop, hosted by the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law (with A. Gluck).
UGA Associate Provost & Kirbo Chair Elizabeth Weeks was featured on UGA Today regarding the Keys to UGA: New Faculty Academy, which introduces new faculty to the university and its resources, including other faculty. The article titled "UGA invests in faculty development, strategic hires" was written by Sam Fahmy and Mike Wooten and was published 11/3/20.
Director of the Law Library Carol A. Watson was featured as part of the American Association of Law Libraries Professional Engagement, Growth & Advancement Special Interest Section's "So You Wanna..." live interview series regarding the topic of submitting program proposals for the AALL Annual Meeting. Watson is a former AALL Annual Meeting Program Committee Chair.
