Distinguished Research Professor & Shackelford Distinguished Professor in Taxation Law Emeritus Walter Hellerstein published "US Experience and Recent Developments in the Collection of Tax on Online Sales" in CJEU: Recent Developments in Value Added Tax 2018 (M. Lang, et al., eds.) (Linde, 2019).

Hosch Professor Lori A. Ringhand co-presented "The Language of Gender and Racial Bias in Supreme Court Confirmation Hearings" (with C. Boyd) at the American Association of Political Scientists annual conference in Washington, D.C. during August.

Callaway Chair of Law Emeritus Ronald L. Carlson presented "Crucial Issues in Modern Evidence Law" at the State Bar of Georgia's 30th Annual Urgent Legal Matters Institute during August.

Hosch Professor Lori A. Ringhand presented "First Amendment (Un)Exceptionalism" at George Washington University during August.

Callaway Chair Elizabeth Chamblee Burch was featured in an Associated Press article regarding Sackler family assets relating to Purdue Pharma settlements. The article titled "Sackler family's web makes it hard to track cash from Purdue Pharma" was written by Adam Geller and published 9/2/19.
