University Professor & Kilpatrick Chair of Corporate Finance and Securities Law Usha Rodrigues presented "Behind the (SPAC) Scenes" at the 2021 Berkeley Forum for Corporate Governance during November.
Rogers Chair of Law Emerita Camilla E. Watson's 2018 Florida State University Law Review article on the future of lower-income students in higher education was featured in a Reuters article. Titled "Providing aid to for-profit colleges is not a matter of racial justice," the Reuters article was written by Hassan Kanu and published 11/17/21.
Associate Dean and Martin Chair of Law Andrea L. Dennis' research was featured in Rolling Stone magazine regarding rap lyrics being used as evidence in criminal trials. The article titled "New York Lawmakers Introducing Bill to Limit Rap Lyrics as Evidence in Criminal Trials" was written by Nancy Dillon and published 11/16/21.
Distinguished Research Professor & Shackelford Distinguished Professor in Taxation Law Emeritus Walter Hellerstein presented as part of a panel titled “VAT and the Digital Economy” organized by the International Monetary Fund that was attended by more than 500 participants from countries around the world during November.
Associate Professor Laura Phillips Sawyer presented on "Myths and Facts: The Progressive Era and Populist Expressions of Antitrust" as part of a University of Southern California Gould School of Law Center for Transnational Law & Business event during November.
