Professor Gluck is currently working on a project with Professor Beth Burch, titled MDL Revolution, which will be forthcoming in the NYU Law Review in April 2021. I will send the paper out by the end of the week.

This panel will focus on the effects race plays on the death penalty in America. Professor Nesset will provide a beginning presentation on the status of legal challenges to the death penalty based on race, and then the panelists will speak on their personal experiences of race in their capital punishment cases.

The Final Round of this year's 1L Closing Argument Competition will take place on Friday, February 5th at 4:30 in the Hatton Lovejoy Courtroom. The Law School will be able to watch virtually. We will send out a link on the day of the Final Round.

The 32nd Annual Red Clay Conference, titled "Overcoming Toxic Relationships," will address coal ash disposal, brownfield redevelopment in Georgia and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in drinking water.
