The School of Law's inaugural Edenfield Jurist in Residence Lecture featuring then-U.S. District Court Chief Judge Lisa Godbey Wood (J.D.'90) was mentioned on Georgia Public Broadcasting regarding sentencing in the Ahmaud Arbery cases. Wood's lecture focused on the topic of sentencing.

Candlelight memorial service to be held May 3

Thirty University of Georgia students, faculty and staff members who have died since April 2021 will be honored at the university’s annual candlelight memorial service on May 3 at 7 p.m. on the steps of the UGA Chapel.
