Students will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panelists regarding their career path, security, and technology. Students that RSVP in advance will receive lunch for the event.

Hey Law Dawgs!

It’s that time again–Food Frenzy is back and UGA Law is in it to win it! Food Frenzy is a fundraising competition hosted by the Georgia Attorney General where law schools compete to see which can raise the most money for their local food bank. UGA Law raised more than $15,000 to fight hunger in our community last year, narrowly losing to Mercer Law. This year we're taking #1 back! We need everyone’s help to accomplish our goal, so here are some important things to note:

Come meet 3Ls who have secured federal clerkships for after graduation. The panel will discuss how they got their clerkships, give advice to students seeking clerkships, and take any questions. The panel includes:

Young Alumni Panel with the International Law Society

The Young Alumni Panel will help expose Georgia students to possible careers that utilize international law. We believe that as part of the law school’s mission to further students’ knowledge of international law, the Young Alumni Panel is an invaluable experience to help students understand how international law will factor into their career options.

Environmental Law Association - Red Clay Conference 2022

The Red Clay Conference is an annual regional conference inviting presentations on, and discussion of, relevant topics in environmental law. Red Clay 2022 will focus on issues pertaining to water law and water resources in the State of Georgia. The conference is titled "Diving into Georgia's Water Resources" and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 4 (Water Division) Deputy Director Denisse Diaz will deliver the Peter Appel Keynote Lecture. Panel discussions will focus on three areas: water wars, wetlands and coasts, and rivers, streams and waterways.
