Periodic, intermittent outages of campus Internet access and campus information systems

UGA EITS will conduct network maintenance that will result in periodic, intermittent outages of campus Internet access and campus information systems on Saturday, October 24. The maintenance will begin at 6:00 a.m. and end at 11:59 p.m. The outages associated with the maintenance will be unpredictable, so the UGA community should assume that network services will be unavailable during the entire day.

The Future of Global Health Governance

This conference will address three crucial questions of global health governance. It will consider, first, whether and how the ailing global public health infrastructure might be reinvigorated; second, how the pandemic has threatened and exposed limitations of the social safety net in the United States and other economies around the world; and, finally, the phenomenon of vaccine refusal and what national and international legal institutions might do to curb it.

Meet and Greet with David Dove, Governor's Executive Counsel

The Law Republicans are pleased to announce that David Dove, the Executive Counsel for Governor Brian Kemp, will be participating in a meet and greet on Wednesday, March 17th at 12:00 noon. David will be discussing various topics including work in the Governor's office, his career path, the Republican Party in Georgia, and other topics. We hope that you are able to join us for this special occasion!

Firm visits provide a unique opportunity for 1Ls & LLMs to visit Atlanta law firms, hear from their attorneys about the practice, and meet attorneys during a reception.

Transportation provided: buses depart from UGA approximately 2 hours before the start of the visit, and return to UGA afterwards.

To participate: watch your email for the questionnaire allowing you to preference your choices. Most students are selected for their top 2-3 choices.
