Distinguished Research Professor & Shackelford Distinguished Professor in Taxation Law Emeritus Walter Hellerstein presented on "Main Issues on E-Commerce and Taxation" at the online Ad Hoc Expert Group Meeting on Electronic Commerce, which was organized by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) during June. This principal presentation helped to "set the stage for the rest of the meeting by providing an overview of the issues relevant for e-commerce taxation.
Metadata Services & Special Collections Librarian Rachel Evans published "Modernizing Authentication: Transitioning E-Resources to SSO via OpenAthens" in 42.5 Computers in Libraries 18 (2022) (with J. Tubinis).
Interim UGA Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, University Professor & Kilpatrick Chair of Corporate Finance and Securities Law Usha Rodrigues published "Disclosure's Limits" in 40 Yale Journal on Regulation Bulletin 37 (2022).
Information Technology Librarian Jason Tubinis published "Modernizing Authentication: Transitioning E-Resources to SSO via OpenAthens" in 42.5 Computers in Libraries 18 (2022) (with R. Evans).
Callaway Chair of Law Emeritus Ronald L. Carlson's book Carlson on Evidence (with M. Carlson) was recently cited by the Supreme Court of Georgia in the case Harris v. State regarding the legal foundation for electronic evidence. This citation brings the total to 64 times that this text has been used by Georgia appellate courts to resolve evidentiary issues.
