Ga Bar IP Section Virtual Happy Hour

In these trying times, how do recent law school graduates and current law students find a path to a career in intellectual property or in law in general? The answer is there is no single way to do this, as will be discussed by the panelists, all of which dealt with finding their own paths during the Great Recession.

Students who cannot attend with their section are welcome to attend one of the other sections' training sessions. Please notify Laura Roqueta (lauraroqueta@uga.edu) if you need to do this.

The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta has a staff attorneys' office. Attorneys will visit and share information about their work, and about the hiring procedures for interested students.

This is an especially valuable information session for 3Ls. 1Ls and 2Ls are welcome to attend.

This event is a webinar introducing DOJ's Volunteer Legal Internship Program. Students will learn about summer and academic-year vacancies, the application process, and get answers to their questions. Students will have two chances to attend this webinar, either Tuesday, November 10, at 12:00 PM ET or Thursday, November 12, at 3:00 PM ET.
