The Career Development Office welcomes the following employers to campus today:
For students interested in summer or post-grad public sector jobs, with pre-selected and walk-up interviews all day in Atlanta.
Interested students should apply (beginning in January), and watch emails for information sessions.
Typically, 70+ public sector employers hire via this interview program, some in Georgia and some in other locations.
In celebration of Open Access Week (October 19-25), the law library will host a panel of University of Georgia School of Law faculty to provide greater context for the film, what open access is, how it relates to open educational resources, and legal implications of digital and information activism.
Join UGA Law's Middle Eastern Law Student Association and Emory Law's Middle Eastern Law Student Association for an opportunity to network with lawyers of Middle Eastern descent who have chosen different law-related career paths.
Please visit LawDawgDash (https://law-uga.admin.12twenty.com/events#/events/30006101080614) to register and obtain the Zoom information.
Please join the CDO in a discussion about all things career related. The conversation will include an update on what we have heard from employers, a bar exam update, and an opportunity to ask questions about what is on your mind. You can submit questions in advance to cdo@uga.edu or ask during the session.

Deadline for 1Ls to schedule their mock interviews, and to submit their preference selections for upcoming law firm visits.
Even during normal times (which these are not), 2Ls have many questions about how to strategize beyond on-campus interviews. CDO is hosting an information session to address current hiring timelines and expectations, and to help 2Ls navigate the path to summer employment.
To obtain the virtual session log in information, please register in LawDawgDash.
We hope you can join us! The session will be recorded for those with conflicts.
