Firm visits provide a unique opportunity for 1Ls & LLMs to visit Atlanta law firms, hear from their attorneys about the practice, and meet attorneys during a reception.

Transportation provided: buses depart from UGA approximately 2 hours before the start of the visit, and return to UGA afterwards.

To participate: watch your email for the questionnaire allowing you to preference your choices. Most students are selected for their top 2-3 choices.

Tax Law Society Meeting with Tax Professionals

Two UGA Law graduates will discuss their careers in tax, provide guidance on pursuing a career in tax, and also provide exciting information on other topics, including the Tax Moot Court Competition!

A collaboration between several organizations, this unique program is designed to round out skillsets needed to navigate and succeed in the ever-changing legal landscape. Going beyond a speaker series, Passport to Practice will require modest pre-reads, session attendance, and brief learning comprehension checks. Participants completing the requirements will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.
