In honor of the anniversary of the signing of the Higher Education Act of 1965, November 8th has been selected as the National First-Generation College Celebration.

UGA will have various campus-wide activities throughout the week, and UGA Law will host a small panel comprised of first-gen faculty and alumni to share their stories, as well as share valuable insights into how their background has shaped their life during various stages in their academic and professional careers.

Attorneys are the custodians of the Rule of Law so it is expected that they should embody civility in their professional lives - which starts in law school.
