The Middle Eastern Law Student Association (MELSA) is proud to organize and host the panel on Civility in the Legal Profession. Civility is a core tenet of attorney professionalism. Attorneys are the custodians of the Rule of Law so it is expected that they should embody civility in their professional lives - which starts in law school. The Civility in the Legal Profession Panel will feature professors from the UGA Law community and the Athens-Clarke County Chief Magistrate Judge who will speak on various aspects of civility in their legal experiences and provide advice to students as they prepare to enter the legal profession.

The panelists for this program are:

  • Professor Brown
  • Dean Dennis
  • Professor Kadri
  • Dean Rutledge
  • Chief Magistrate Judge Patricia Barron

The panel is co-sponsored by:

  • International Law Society
  • Federalist Society
  • First-Generation Students Association
