Assistant Professor John B. Meixner Jr. presented “Empirical Trends in Sentencing Mitigation” at the 2026 Judges Seminar for the United States Sentencing Commission in San Diego, California. Notably, Meixner was the only scholar selected to present before approximately 100 federal judges in attendance.
