Georgia Association for Women Lawyers Support Fund -
The purpose of this fund is to provide support for the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, a student organization at the School of Law which promotes mentoring, networking and other resources to its members and the law school community.
Community Health Law Partnership Clinic Fund-
The purpose of the Fund is to provide support for the Community Health Law Partnership Clinic (“Community HeLP Clinic”), a Medical-Legal Partnership, at the University of Georgia School of Law (“School”). Support shall include, but not be limited to, fellowships (summer, post-grad, semester, and distinguished law), externships, scholarships, travel, stipends, awards, supplies, litigation and operating expenses, staffing, administrative support, a clinic, and any other related expenses as deemed appropriate by the Dean of the School.
School of Law Student Support Fund for Those Affected by Forced Displacement-
The purpose of the fund is to provide support for the OUTLaw Student Association, a student organization and the School of Law which promotes education and discussion of legal and societal issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity. Support shall include, but not be limited to, awards, resources support, conferences, business-related travel, application fees, mailing expenses, speakers, business-related meals and entertainment, and any other related expenses and initiatives as deemed appropriate by the Dean of the School.
The purpose of the Fund is to provide support to the Street Law student organization in the School of Law ("School"), which teaches practical legal skills and topics to vulnerable community members with backgrounds that are underrepresented in the legal profession - particularly pre-college students - and inspires participants to pursue legal careers. Bool Simkins Summer Fellowship for Public Interest Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide a summer fellowship to a top performing student (top one-third of class or higher) in the School of Law (“School”) who has a full-summer (typically eight to ten weeks) qualifying public interest/pro bono career placement during his or her second summer. Wilbanks Child Endangerment and Sexual Exploitation (CEASE) Clinic Fund -
The purpose of the Fund is to provide support of the Wilbanks Child Endangerment and Sexual Exploitation (CEASE) Clinic at the School of Law to address issues of child sexual abuse and exploitation, including employment of a director of the clinic to work with law students and to manage civil litigation on behalf of victims.
Vis Moot Support Fund -
The purpose of the Fund is to provide support for University of Georgia law students that compete and participate in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot held annually in Vienna, Austria.
Veterans Legal Services Clinic Fund -
The purpose of the Fund is to provide support for the Veterans Legal Clinic at the School of Law, including staffing, travel, and administrative support. Also, the Fund provides scholarship support for students in the School of Law that have served in the U.S. Military.
