Biographical Information

Szilvia Somodi joined Georgia Law's Alexander Campbell King Law Library in 2014, and she currently serves as the circulation, reserve and interlibrary loan assistant. In this role, her main responsibilities include maintaining both physical and electronic reserves as well as assisting law school faculty and staff with their library needs. Somodi is also responsible for student assistant payroll and scheduling.

She holds a master's degree in library and information science from Valdosta State University and master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Szeged, Hungary. Additionally, she has a degree in winemaking, which she used to help her father run her family's winemaking business in her native Hungary.

Somodi has completed UGA's Supervisory Excellence and Diversity and Inclusion Certificates along with the online certificate program in using social media to build business offered by UGA Continuing Education.
