In addition to manufacturing traditional powertrain vehicles, the Company is the leader in the space for alternative fuel vehicles and is working with school systems and governments across the US and Canada to expand on the use of alternative fuel vehicles in the space.
Type of Work: Student will be involved in reviewing and summarizing supplier contracts, researching and advising regarding employment law issues, as well as researching and advising the business regarding compliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. The student will also have exposure to and assist in the various legal issues that arise in the OEM-dealer relationship across various states, including the variances among state Motor Dealer Franchise statutes. The student will also gain exposure to and may have the opportunity to assist in preparing various filings and advice related to the corporate governance and securities function of a publicly-traded company.
