Type of work:

Externs will work closely with Vero’s General Counsel on a variety of legal and compliance matters, including:

• Conducting legal research on FDA regulations, healthcare compliance, intellectual property, and corporate governance.
• Drafting, reviewing, and analyzing commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, and hospital purchasing agreements.
• Assisting in compliance initiatives, including policy development, training, and regulatory filings.
• Supporting risk management efforts by identifying potential legal and business risks.
• Observing and participating in cross-functional meetings with business, regulatory, and clinical teams.

Externship will be in person.

Prior coursework or other skills/interests:

The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, solid legal research and writing skills, a desire to work on unique and challenging legal issues, and excellent interpersonal skills.
