Anna Rau joined the University of Georgia School of Law in 2024 as student affairs coordinator. She supports the mission of the law school and its student affairs office by providing a variety of services aimed at enhancing the law school experience and meeting student needs. Rau oversees law school student organizations and supports the First-Start Scholars Program. She also assists with the implementation of ADA accommodations, the law school’s Mentorship Program, individual student matters, first-year and transfer student orientation and other programs to promote student wellness and success.
Previously, Rau worked as a residential success coordinator at Winthrop University with special attention given to civic engagement and the instruction of resident assistants. In these roles, she focused on providing guidance to residential students while also supervising facilities and student staff.
Rau earned her bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University and her Master of Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina where she served as an assistant residence life coordinator and completed a practicum at Columbia College.
