Back-to-back strong showing at #20 by U.S. News

Earlier today, U.S. News & World Report issued its latest ranking of the nation’s law schools, and once again the University of Georgia School of Law was ranked in the Top 20.

This is UGA Law's second year in a row at this position, which is its highest ever. The School of Law remains the highest ranked law school in the state of Georgia (for the fourth year) and is counted among the top seven public law schools in the nation (again).

This repeatedly strong showing at #20 reaffirms the School of Law’s sustained success in redefining what it means to be a great national public law school, especially when it is paired with other significant measures such as:

• #1 Best Value in legal education ranking for the fourth time in six years
• #4 employment rate in the nation for full-time, long-term, bar-pass required jobs (Class of 2022)
• a near perfect (99.48%) Ultimate Bar Passage Rate (Class of 2021)
• the lowest tuition among Top 20 U.S. News law schools

"All of these markers of success were achieved through the efforts of many," Dean Peter B. "Bo" Rutledge said.
