Gabrielle L. "Gabby" Dukes

Gabrielle L. “Gabby” Dukes joined the University of Georgia School of Law in 2023 as the director of development. In this role, she works to grow private support that ensures a strong future for the law school. 

Dukes came to UGA from the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation, where she served as executive director. She led comprehensive fundraising efforts, served as spokesperson and managed the daily operations of the nonprofit organization. 

Previously, she worked at The Cancer Foundation for approximately six years. After an internship with the organization in 2016, she became a prospect researcher and development coordinator. She was later promoted to assistant director to manage donor relations, communications and fundraising program oversight to help the organization alleviate the financial burden of cancer care for patients. 

She earned both her Master of Arts in Nonprofit Organizations and her Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences at UGA. 

Dukes is presently involved with the Junior League of Athens and the UGA College of Family & Consumer Sciences Alumni Association Board of Directors, where she has held a variety of leadership positions with both organizations.
