Type of work: Student will be involved in the preparation, review and negotiation of commercial contracts, including customer and supplier agreements, employment agreements, real estate leases and insurance agreements. Student may also be involved with commercial finance agreements as well as other finance and tax related issues; research into regulatory matters, including product, safety, sustainability and data security requirements; corporate compliance matters; attorney training opportunities; interaction with business managers and other internal clients; and litigation, bankruptcy, and collection matters.

Prior coursework or other skills: Experience with the Uniform Commercial Code and Delaware and Georgia corporate law is desirable but not required.

Preferred days: Flexible; The Summer Internship Program will be a 9-week opportunity (June 3 – August 7) with the cohort in the office Monday – Wednesday with weekly professional training sessions, social events and lunch and learns offered during those days.
