The University of Georgia received the 2020 Laspau University Award, which recognizes exceptional contributions made in working with Laspau grantees. Associate Director for International Professional Education Laura Kagel received the award on behalf of the Dean Rusk International Law Center.

Cindy Hawkins Rada (LL.M.'20) was a Laspau grantee. She earned her bachelor's degree from the Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia, and a degree in Business Law from the Universidad Externado de Colombia in Bogotá. Hawkins was the recipient of a Fulbright Award and focused her time during her LL.M. studies on international law.
