Aside from the few upper-level courses required for graduation, second- and third-year students at Georgia Law are free to design their curriculum in the way that best suits their own personal and professional goals. With the guidance of Faculty Advisors and a select group of third-year Student Advisors, students can pick and choose from the wide variety of courses and experiences offered. However, whether you are a student who plans to practice in a particular area of law or a student who is open to a variety of practice areas, deciding which courses to take can be daunting.
To help with those decisions, various Georgia Law faculty members offer their insights in the videos below. Some provide advice about choosing courses to prepare for a particular practice area (including courses in other areas of law that may be critical to such a practice), while others provide more general advice about the kinds of considerations that should factor into course selection.
