The Veterans Legal Clinic, operated by the University of Georgia School of Law, has helped approximately 370 veterans and their family members claim over $1 million in additional benefits since its establishment in 2018.
Summer public interest fellowships provide important hands-on learning opportunities for law students. At the University of Georgia School of Law, financial support for these experiences has been on an upward trajectory since 2017.

The University of Georgia School of Law has named its iconic rotunda after its first Black graduate, Chester C. Davenport. A portrait of Davenport is being commissioned and will eventually hang in the space located at the main entrance to the law school.
The School of Law distributed approximately $305,000 to roughly 95 students pursuing 2021 summer fellowships, which provide essential hands-on learning and involve legal work in government, judicial and public interest positions throughout the country.
