Goddard Foundation bolsters support for veterans
The John N. Goddard Foundation has made a gift to support the University of Georgia School of Law's veterans.
The University of Georgia School of Law is redefining what it means to be a great national public law school. The following news items demonstrate the School of Law’s commitment to Connect members of its community – including faculty, staff, students and alumni/alumnae – with each other and with distinguished jurists, legal practitioners and lawyers, corporate leaders, public servants and world-class scholars in pursuit of its vision to provide a first-rate legal education – which includes quality hands-on educational experiences and service to state and society – as well as employment for its students and graduates.

Twenty-seven University of Georgia students, faculty and staff members who have died since April 2022 - including two members of the School of Law community - will be honored at the university’s annual candlelight memorial service on May 2 at 7 p.m. on the steps of the UGA Chapel.
The University of Georgia Alumni Association will honor seven recipients of the 2023 Alumni Awards during an event on April 21.
