The University of Georgia School of Law has once again been named the nation’s Best Value in legal education. UGA Law has occupied this top position an extraordinary six times in the last nine years – 2018, 2019, 2020, 2023, 2024, and now again in 2026.
The school's dominance in this National Jurist ranking reflects its continued focus on matching excellence with access. Some key indicators leading to this sustained level of success include:
- 96.47% Class of 2025 in Full Credit Employment Outcomes
- 97.62% Class of 2023 Ultimate Bar Passage Rate (and recently ranked #6 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report for this metric)
- Lowest tuition of the Top-30 law schools ranked by U.S. News & World Report
- 56% of students did not take out an educational loan (2025-26)
- 84% of students received grants and scholarships (2024-25)
- 100% of veterans and first-gen college graduates in J.D. class received aid for the sixth straight year
- More than $1.6M awarded in summer fellowships since 2022
Additionally, the school is proud to be national leaders in federal judicial clerkships (#9), mock trial (#5) and moot court (#9).
Dean Usha R. Rodrigues said the law school’s strong record of achievement is thanks to the steadfast support received from so many: the UGA administration, under the leadership of alumnus and UGA President Jere W. Morehead; dedicated faculty and staff; talented students; and alumni and friends.
"Thank you for all you do for the School of Law and for helping us once again to be the nation's best return on investment in legal education! Go Dawgs!" she said.
