The Veterans Legal Clinic recently obtained an approximately $240,000 award for its client from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Then-Clinic Director Alexander W. Scherr represented the client at the 2025 Board of Veterans Appeals hearing. Several students and clinic staff worked with the client over the past five years to secure the favorable outcome.
