Congratulations to third-year student M. Drake Jones on being named the inaugural Academic All-American Trial Advocate by the National Association of Legal Advocacy Educators. The title is given to a student who has had exemplary success in courtroom advocacy competitions, modeled good leadership and fellowship with in the law school community and excelled academically.
Jones will also represent UGA at the upcoming Top Gun XVI National Mock Trial Competition, an elite, invitation-only tournament for law schools that have excelled at mock trial competitions during the past year.
