The 2021-22 School of Law Community Health Law Partnership Clinic team was featured in preLaw magazine regarding the clinic's work with the school's First Amendment Clinic - and four other clinics from Harvard, Columbia, Texas A&M and Boston universities - representing women who allegedly endured abusive gynecological treatments and medical neglect while in the custody of U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. For their collective efforts, the Clinical Legal Education Association presented them with the Award for Excellence in a Public Interest Case or Project in 2021.
