Hispanic and Latino Law Students Association (HLLSA) Opportunity Fund
The purpose of the Fund is to provide support for the Hispanic and Latino Law Student Association (HLLSA) at the University of Georgia (“University”).

The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship support for a student(s) in the School of Law (“School”). Preference shall be given to law students who meet one or more of the following criteria:
• Student who exhibits a dedication to racial equality;
• Student who demonstrates an interest in serving underrepresented minority or ethnic groups;
• Student who has overcome obstacles such as socioeconomic or educational disadvantage or other significant challenges; and/or
The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship support for a student(s) in the School of Law (“School”) who is a Georgia resident. All other factors being equal, preference shall be given to law students who meet one or more of the following criteria listed by priority:
• First preference for students with disabilities, as defined by the University of Georgia’s (“University”) Equal Opportunity Office or any successor office responsible for ensuring equal education opportunity
The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship support for a student(s) in the School of Law (“School”) who demonstrates civility, mentorship, modesty, thoughtfulness, kindness, dedication, and any other characteristics consistent with Judge Story’s special legacy. All other factors being equal, preference will be given to first-generation college graduates. Recipients will be selected by a committee appointed by the Dean of the School.
The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship support for a first-generation law student(s) enrolled in the University of Georgia's ("University") School of Law ("School"). Recipients shall be selected by a committee appointed by the Dean of the School.
The purpose of the Fund is to honor Steve’s life, career, and impact by providing scholarship support to law students. Preference will be given to first-generation college graduates who are or have been residents of South Georgia, particularly the Albany area, Steve’s home. Recipients will be selected by a committee, consisting of at least three members, approved by the Dean of the School.
Judge Clarence D. Blount Scholarship Fund-
The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship support for a student(s) in the School of Law (“School”). Preference will be given to those who are, or have been, residents of Southeast Georgia, particularly the Waycross area, Judge Blount’s home. If necessary, consideration may be given to those who demonstrate a commitment to working in Southeast Georgia or legally underserved or rural portions of the state. Recipients shall be selected by a committee appointed by the Dean of the School.
Barrett Law Scholarship Fund-
W. Pope Langdale Endowed Scholarship Fund-
The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship support for a student(s) enrolled in the University of Georgia’s (“University”) School of Law (“School”). Preference shall be given to students who reside in South Georgia excluding Macon, Georgia and Columbus, Georgia. Recipients shall be selected by a committee appointed by the Dean of the School.
Robert and Kathleen Smith Family Scholarship Fund-
The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarship support for a student(s) enrolled in the School of Law. Preference shall be given to residents of Chatham County, Georgia and/or to students whose applications indicate a proven intent to practice in Chatham County, Georgia.
