Thomas "TJ" Striepe serves as the director of the University of Georgia Alexander Campbell King Law Library. He joined the library 2011, initially serving as the faculty services librarian and then the associate director for research services.
He is an active member of American Association of Law Libraries and the Southeastern Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries. He has been the chair of multiple committees and has presented frequently at annual conferences.
Striepe came to UGA from the University of Arizona College of Law Library, where he was a Law Librarian Fellow and performed numerous research projects for law professors, taught legal research to law students and drafted research guides on Arizona law in addition to other duties. He also served as an associate attorney with the firm Courey, Kosanda & Zimmer in Minnesota.
He earned his bachelor's degree with honors from the University of Iowa and his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Arizona State University, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif. He then earned his master's degree in information resources and library science from the University of Arizona.
