Biographical Information

Emily Clary joined the University of Georgia School of Law in 2023 as the associate director of annual giving. In this role, she seeks to grow private support for the law school by overseeing all aspects of the annual giving program. 

Clary comes to the School of Law with five years of UGA institutional advancement experience. She managed annual giving and stewardship efforts at the College of Pharmacy for two years. While at the university’s Development and Alumni Relations Division, she worked in client services communications to optimize the use of Blackbaud customer relationship management tools. Her efforts facilitated specialized mass mailings, event marketing and stewardship. 

She also gained fundraising and communications experience through her volunteer work with Pawsible and The Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind. For two years, she aided the puppy-raising focused nonprofit with developing donor relations, fundraising methods and grant applications. With the Guide Dog Foundation Athens-based group, she worked on stewardship efforts and social media communications.

Clary holds three degrees from UGA. She earned her both her B.S. in Psychology and B.A. in Advertising in 2017, and she completed Master of Arts in Mass Communications in 2018.
