Tina Evans

Tina Evans joined the University of Georgia School of Law as its student engagement coordinator in 2026. In this Career Development Office position, she serves as the first point of contact for the school’s employer partners. Additionally, she manages Law Dawg Dash, drafts student newsletters, assists with professional development events and distributes resources and CDO-related information.

Evans came to UGA after retiring from the City of Winder Police Department, where she served as a police records clerk. Throughout her 17 years with the department, she maintained her certification as a communications officer, processed and maintained sensitive law enforcement records and responded to open records requests. Evans was also responsible for co-leading monthly and annual community events that attracted more than 12,000 attendees. Her other professional experience included work in real estate law firms in the Barrow, Gwinnett and DeKalb county areas. 

Evans earned her associate’s degree from Gainesville College.
