Up to six scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $2,500 each for the 2025-2026 school year.

Established in 1995, MGC is a metrics-driven law firm built specifically to serve the insurance industry, their insureds and self-insureds. In 2021, we launched the MGC Law Student Diversity Scholarship Program to foster diverse talent within the legal community. This initiative provides scholarships to eligible law students, offering opportunities to support their growth as legal professionals.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion has always been important to MGC’s identity and culture, and we are always seeking to improve on attracting diverse candidates across all positions in our firm. As part of our commitment, the firm introduced the MGC Diversity Scholarships to provide diverse law students with access to opportunities that will aid in their development as legal professionals.

Criteria:

  • Are enrolled full-time in an ABA-accredited law school with an anticipated graduation date of 2026 or 2027 at the time of application
  • Demonstrate a commitment to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion within their local and/or global communities
  • Are Black, Hispanic, Asian, Native American and/or multi-racial, and/or are LGBTQ, and/or are female (regardless of race, ethnicity or sexual orientation/identity/expression) and/or have a physical or mental disability
