A. Gus Cleveland Distinguished Chair of Legal Ethics and Profession - 

The Fund provides support to the A. Gus Cleveland Distinguished Chair of Legal Ethics and Profession. The chairholder:

  1. The person named shall have an outstanding national reputation;
  2. He or she shall be a full professor;
  3. Professors shall not be rotated to occupy the Chair. The holder will occupy the Chair as long as his or her performance warrants in the sole judgement of the School of Law; and
  4. The holder shall be engaged in teaching, research, public service, or a combination of such duties consistent with the purpose of the Chair.
