The University of Georgia School of Law is redefining what it means to be a great national public law school. School of Law names rotunda after first Black graduate

The University of Georgia School of Law has named its iconic rotunda after its first Black graduate, Chester C. Davenport. A portrait of Davenport is being commissioned and will eventually hang in the space located at the main entrance to the law school.
 

Student fellowship funding reaches record high of approx. $305,000

The School of Law distributed approximately $305,000 to roughly 95 students pursuing 2021 summer fellowships, which provide essential hands-on learning and involve legal work in government, judicial and public interest positions throughout the country.
